Rome was the founding member of the R&B group Immature/IMx. It included members like Marques Houston and Kelton Keesee. The two are also known as Batman and LDB. The band was managed by Chris Strokes. Rome’s nickname at that time was Romeo. The group had already released four albums under the name Immature: On Our Worst Behaviour in 1992 among others.
