Jim Peterik (born November 11, 1950) is an American musician and songwriter born and raised in Berwyn, Illinois, USA. He is best known as the founder of the rock group Survivor, as the lead singer and songwriter of the song “Vehicle” by the band March Ides, and as a co-writer of the anthem “Eye of the Tiger”, the theme from the 1982 film Rocky III.
