Bryant began his basketball profession back in college playing at La Salle University. He was drafted in the first round by the Golden State Warriors in 1975. He did not really play with the warriors since he was traded to his home team Philadelphia 76ers. He played with the 76ers for good four seasons in the position of a forward alongside NBA all-stars Julius Erving, Doug Collins, and George McGinnis.
