Julianna Farrait (Julianna Farrait Rodriguez) is a Puerto Rican national, who is famously known as the wife of the late American gangster and drug trafficker Frank Lucas. She was also involved in drug trafficking and in 2012 she was sentenced to five years in prison for trying to sell cocaine to an undercover informant.

In the movie American Gangster, which was inspired by her husband’s life, Julianna is portrayed as an ex-Miss Puerto Rico. Further investigations later showed that she had never been on the Miss Puerto Rico’ winners.

Julianna Farrait Arrest

Julianna was arrested in 1975 and was sentenced to five years in prison for getting involved in the drug business, illegal trafficking of drugs, and covering up Lucas’s drug activities.

Later in 2010, she was arrested again as she was trying to sell 2kg of cocaine at a hotel in Puerto Rico.

She was sentenced to five years in prison by Manhattan Federal court justice, Laura Taylor in 2012. During the sentencing, Julianna begged the judge for “mercy and compassion” so she could care for her ailing husband.
