Julie Goldman Brandy Howard

Speaking of her career, Goldman began her first stand-up comedy performance, when she was just 15 years old, at The Comedy Connection located in Boston, Massachusetts. Her interest in comedy grew with years, so she later founded an all-women stand-up and variety show called OFFENSIVE WOMEN and recruited Eve Ensler to sponsor their biggest show to date at The Zipper Theater in New York City.

In 2010, Goldman joined the cast of Jonny McGovern’s weekly podcast Gay Pimpin with Jonny McGovern, where she was a frequent guest. Goldman is working on raising money for Nicest Thing, a feature-length, lesbian romantic comedy that she co-wrote with Brandy Howard, both of whom are also producing the movie with Amanda Bearse who is also slated to direct. Other attachments include Tammy Lynn Michaels, Guinevere Turner, Kate Clinton, Paul Vogt, Bryce Johnson, and Kate McKinnon.

Goldman and Howard also co-host Julie & Brandy in Your Box Office, a web series on lesbian website Autostraddle, in which they provide reviews and re-enactments of Movies.
