• Kacey Musgraves began her songwriting skills when she was only 8 years old. her first song was called Notice Me which she wrote for her elementary school graduation. Musgraves then got to know how to play music on the Mandolin for the first time while in school. She later learned the skills of how to play the guitar at the age of 12. She was given guitar lessons by a local musician named John De Foore.
