Katherine Von Drachenberg(born on March 8, 1982), is one of the best female American tattoo artists and, a model, musician, author, entrepreneur, and television personality. Better known as Kat Von D, based on her best work as a tattoo artist on the TLC reality television.
Von D is also famous for her cosmetic line that launched in 2008.

Her Argentinean parents, Rana Dranchenberg and Sylvia Galeano are both from different descent. The father of German descent while the mother of Italian-Spanish ancestry. Von D shares a close bond with her siblings – brother Michael Von Dranchenberg and sister Karoline Von Dranchenberg.
They migrate to Los Angeles, when at the age of 4 years and settled down in Colton, California. And California, her parents exposed her to piano classes at the age of 6 years old, developing a liking for Ludwig van Beethoven’s masterpieces.

Her makeup line became a root of the controversy after realizing a lipstick called “Selektion“, was contemplated inappropriate in its native Germany where this is the term used by the Nazis to decide who would be chosen to either be put to work or death upon arrival to the concentration camps. This led to the lipstick being renamed to “Beloved”.
Von D’s Noble, (from liquid lipstick)was launched, debuting the eye-catching matte lipstick.
