Katherine Sarafian, born Katherine Marianne Sarafian is an American film producer. She started at Pixar Animation Studios as an artist but was shifted from the art department to marketing during the making of A Bug’s Life by Pixar head Steve Jobs. She then became a producer at Pixar Animation Studios.
She has been an integral part of the success and growth of the company, holding a variety of key leadership positions that have culminated in her role as producer on Disney Pixar’s the Academy Award-winning feature film “Brave.” Sarafian joined Pixar in 1994 as a production coordinator on the studio’s first full-length feature film, “Toy Story.”
