Katie has been serving as an anchor of the station’s morning newscast since September 2011 and joined the station in 2010. She came to the Triad from Duluth, Minnesota, where she had worked as a reporter and anchor after studying broadcast journalism.
Nordeen is very active in Special Olympics and is honored to be on the Special Olympics North Carolina Board of Directors. Her passion is inspired by her niece Eleanor who has special needs.
