In August 2013, Kelsey became the Morning Show reporter. She reported for News 13 This Morning on weekdays from 5 a.m. – 7 a.m. and News 13 at Midday from 11 a.m.- noon. In September 2014, Kelsey was promoted to co-anchor News 13 This Morning and News 13 at Midday.
In January 2020, Kelsey was promoted to Assistant News Directors position. Throughout her career in News 13, she was always interested in news management and she got her chance after her promotion. Following her promotion, Kelsey stated, “I’m looking forward to continuing to serve the Panhandle in this new role. Hurricane Michael changed things for so many people and I think it’s important for those of us in the media to keep telling your stories.
