Beatrice Elachi Bio
Beatrice Elachi is a Kenyan lawmaker who has been Speaker of the Nairobi County Assembly, since 6 September 2017. She supplanted Alex Ole Magelo, who didn’t challenge his seat. Quickly preceding her political race, she was the Majority Whip in the Kenya Senate.

The prominent Kenyan politician was born in 1973 in Kakamega county, Kenya. She has however not disclosed much about the exact date of birth.
Beatrice Elachi Father – Family
Elachi was born into a mixed cultural family. Her Father was a Luhya while her mother was a Kikuyu. Her parents separated while she was in college and she was forced to first drop out to go back home and help her father out.

She went to St. Teresa’s Primary School for her rudimentary training. She at that point moved to Moi Girls Vokoli High School, in Vihiga County, for he auxiliary training. She was then admitted to Africa Nazarene University in Nairobi, the capital and biggest city in Kenya. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Peace and Security Studies. She proceeded to acquire a Master of Arts degree in a similar subject, likewise from Africa Nazarene University.
Beatrice Elachi Senate
In 2013, Elachi was nominated to the Senate as an individual from the Alliance Party of Kenya. She rose to the position of Majority Chief Whip in the Upper Chamber, becoming the first lady to serve in that limit, throughout the entire existence of Kenya’s parliament.
In 2017, Beatrice won the Jubilee Alliance primary elections in the Dagoretti North Constituency, in April. In the August 2017 general elections, she lost to Paul Simba Arati, the officeholder.
Beatrice Elachi Speaker
On 6 September 2017, having been dully elected, she was chosen as the speaker of the Nairobi County Assembly, and was the occupant, as of January 2018.
On 6 September 2018, in the wake of being blamed for (an) irreconcilable circumstance, (b) undermining the Authority of the County Assembly Board, (c) maltreatment of office, net unfortunate behavior and inability to indicate initiative, she was denounced as the speaker of Nairobi County Assembly.
In May this year, The Employment and Labour Relations Court reinstated her to the position of the speaker but she took her time before returning.
Beatrice Elachi Chaotic Return
She reported back to the office on 9th October 2019. However her return was not as peaceful as she hoped it would be.
before she could attract the window ornaments her office, her arrival was met with a similar disarray that constrained her out of office a year ago.
A segment of Jubilee-subsidiary Members of the County Assembly restricted to the arrival of the troubled speaker attempted to powerfully oust her from office.
“In the event that anything transpires, simply know it’s the Majority chief Hassan Guyo,” an angry Elachi countered.
The officials blamed her for predisposition and forcing herself on them.
“You have been dismissed by Dagoretti North constituents, we dismissed you and you are attempting to recover a through the secondary passage,” Majority pioneer Abdi Guyo yelled.
In the encounter that was communicated live on TV, glasses were broken, tables were broken and seats dispersed over the room.
