Kimana Mara Camp
On the banks of the Sekenani River, Kimana Mara Cap is surrounded by indigenous woodland. The camp aims to provide simplicity, serenity and intimacy with nature, It is located 2km from Sekenani Gate,just outside the Maasai Mara National Reserve.
There are 37 en—suite tents, made up of singles, doubles and triples. The tents are linked by walkways through the trees. Guests can choose the full board or self-catering option. There is also a campsite, with dining area, kitchen and communal bathroom facilities. Guests can bring their own tents, or hire tents on site. The camp has a generator and charging facilities, and a secure car park.
Game drives in the Maasai Mara National Reserve can be booked at the camp, or guests can do self drive game drives; 4WD vehicles are available for hire. The camp offers nature walks outside the reserve and hiking trails with local guides further aﬁeld. Cultural visits to local Maasai villages are on offer. Bush breakfast, dinner and sundowners can be arranged. Maasai dances at the campfire during the evening are available. The camp is open to special interest groups such as students, workshops and ﬁlming crews. Teambuilding activities can be arranged.
