Lisamula Silverse Biography
Lisamula Silverse is a Kenyan member of Paliament (MP) representing Shinyalu constituency in Kakamega county. He is a member of Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) and a coalition member of Coalition for Reforms & Democracy.
His election was petitioned by Justus Kizito and the Court of Appeal nullified his election, the judges ruled that there was violence in Shinyalu on the eve of March 4 polls that affected the outcome of the election.
He was later reinstated by the supreme court citing that that the petition was filed out of time at the High Court. They stated that the appeal was also filed after the required time at the Court of Appeal and therefore they could not rule on an illegality.
