He started his career way back in high school where he joined the drama club, he says that he used to mimic teachers after they left class and his colleagues would love it.
He later joined theatre groups where he performed set books and got a chance to do stand up comedy.
He says that he auditioned six times before he finally performed on Churchill on the Road Nakuru Edition.
His breakthrough came in when a show of his was uploaded on Youtube and it went viral

Prof Hamo steps out looking sharp and fans can’t keep calm (Photos)
Churchill show Comedian and Hot 96 Radio Presenter Prof Hamo caused excitement on social media after stepping out looking sharp while reporting to work on Friday.
On Friday, Hamo shared a series of photos dressed in blue-floral coat matched with a black trouser and Black-blue shoes and his fans could not keep calm.
Hamo seemed to have caught netizens off guard after the transformation from his usual Churchill show’s outfits.
Many who commented, showered the funnyman with praises for turning around his dressing table.
Away from his TV persona, Hamo the Professor has now joined the list of stylish gents in the comedy industry. Just like his fellow colleagues, away from our TV screens, he looks all polished and well acquainted with style.
We are used to seeing the Churchill Show comedian in his signature “Mwalimu” outfit, comprising of a grungy-ish ill-fitting ensemble with books as his prop.
