Kerry Barrett is an American award-winning journalist working with NBC 4 WNBC, New York. She joined “Today in New York,” NBC 4 New York’s 4:30 a.m. – 7 a.m. newscasts, in March 2015.
Barrett attended Clemson University earning a bachelor’s degree in speech and communications and a master’s degree in Telecommunications from the University of Florida.

At the station, she anchored and produced the highest rated weekend newscasts. She also wrote and voiced daily radio cut-ins.
From February 2003 to October 2003, she worked as a reporter, fill-in anchor, and fill-in co-host at KNXV IN Phoenix, AZ. Kerry reported and field produced, live breaking stories multiple times a day. She is responsible for at least 10 live shots and teases during 2 and a half hour morning show.
