Eva Marcille is opening up about her past with ex-boyfriend Kevin McCall.
The 34-year-old “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star says McCall allegedly abused her while pregnant with their daughter, Marley.
“[The abuse] didn’t start for me until I was pregnant with Marley,” Marcille shared on Thursday’s “The Rickey Smiley Show.”
“And then about a month after having Marley, it didn’t stop; it got worse,” she added. “And it got worse with her.”
Marcille, who is now married to Michael Sterling with a new baby, says she knew her environment had to change when “Marley was actually in my arms once. And I was like, ‘I can’t do this no more.’”
The model and actress didn’t go into specifics about the type of abuse she allegedly suffered.
McCall, 34, was arrested on Monday in Los Angeles for domestic violence. He was released on Tuesday after posting bond. It’s unclear what exactly led to this arrest or who the alleged victim may be. However, Marcille had some choice words for the woman.
“I feel sorry for that girl,” she tearfully said. “I feel bad for women who have to deal with it. It’s actually not a laughable matter. It’s something that makes you feel so little so you don’t want to talk about it, but it really sucks. I hope that they keep his ass in jail as long as they can. Period.”
After being released from Jail on Tuesday, McCall took to Instagram share positive words saying impart, “If you have a dream and a Good heart don’t let this world steal your Joy.”
And on late Thursday night, McCall returned to Instagram putting up a cryptic message saying, “Some people only hate you because of the way other people love you.”
A request for comment from McCall wasn’t immediately returned.
