He then joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and went to one of their Missionary Training Centers. He served in France, Switzerland, Mauritius and Reunion from 1990 t0 1992. He returned to USA and studied pre-law at Bringham Young University before he changed to drama back in 1994.
