Khuzani was born on 3 December 1989, in Nkandla, In 1995. He began his primary education at Mvaziya Primary School in Emandaba, Nkandla, and studied here until 1998. In 1999 he continued his education at Swandle Primary and High School, located in Nkandla, until 2002.
In 2003 Khuzani tentatively left KwaZulu-Natal for Pretoria where he continued his education at Makgatho Primary School. Shortly after his departure, he returned to KwaZulu-Natal where he completed grade 12 in 2009 at Sulwini Primary and High School.
Rise to Fame
Khuzani released his introduction album entitled Bahluleke Bonke in 2011. In 2012 he released his second single, Amapungunge. The album brought him great honor which led Mtshengiseni Gcwensa, live on Okhozini FM to conclude that Khuzani would be a great maskandi artist and would win many awards like Ndidane.
As Mtshengiseni has said, Khuzani is now known as the King of Maskandi by his followers who also call him King Khuba! Supporters of his main rival Mthandeni Manqele but oppose this.
Khuzani has worked with masquerade champions including Ndidane ( Mtshengiseni Gcwensa ), Izingane Zoma, Shobeni Khuzwayo, Shwi Nomtekhala, Celebrities, Celebrity Babes, Imfezemnyama, Amagez’Amahle, Andile ka Majola, Lebo M, Big Nuz, Afro Soul, and many other artists.
In the year 2017 he released an album titled The Liar Bullet, which became a gold mine just two months after its release. For this album, he collaborated with many people including Skhindi Zondi, Phathaphatha, Maqhude, Senzo Kanyile, and Thibela Mpungose to name a few.
