Kid Buu (real name;Markquez Lao Santiago) is a Canadian rapper born on 11th April 1988 in Toronto, Canada (some sites claim he was born in New Jersey, US). He is known for his songs like Double Up, Death 2 Soundcloud, and Dead Roses. He got a lot of attention when his ex-girlfriend, Sarah Penman, released a ‘YouTube’ video and accused him of faking his age.
Kid began his rap career performing under the name ‘Humongous The God’ aka ‘HXTXG’. He later changed to Kid Buu which is a moniker named inspired by the Dragon Ball Z.

During an interview with XXL Magazine in December 2018 he said that his memory was wiped away. He claimed he had a UFO encounter that led to him joining the Raelian movement, a group of like-minded individuals who believe that life on Earth originates from extraterrestrial lifeforms. He claimed that most of his memories from the past especially the negative ones were erased in a hypnosis therapy that acts as a brainwashing of sorts.
“It eliminates anything that is aggressive in the mind and that is just gonna be toxic to you or your livelihood,” Kid Buu says of the process, insisting that this makes it difficult for him to recall the events that led to his aforementioned abuse charge. “For that reason, a lot of stuff is really hard to remember.”

In 2018 Kid Buu was in a relationship with Sarah Penman although the relationship was short lived and they eventually broke up. The relationship gained media spotlight after the relationship was over as Sarah made a you tube video in which she accused Kid Buu of abuse and fraud.
In the video Sarah claimed that Kid abused her and faked his real age. Sarah claimed that Kid lied that he was 23 and at the time he was 30 while Sarah was only 18. She further said Kid faked his personality as a musician as he did not even get paid for his shows.
Sarah also claimed that Kid was previously married and even had a daughter. She claimed that when she confronted Kid with the information he blamed the woman of framing him. Sarah revealed that the mother of Kid’s daughter messaged her on ‘Instagram’ and told her the truth. She had told Sarah that Kid Buu had influenced her to start a relationship with him. The lady also claimed that she was a minor at that time and that Kid Buu had left her after she delivered their daughter. Sarah also claimed that Kid lied and manipulated her to make her believe him.
During an interview with XXL magazine in December 2018 Kid denied the claims saying: “For starters, it’s a girl I met on Tinder. They’re willing to do anything and everything, even if it’s dishonor someone who was a kind friend in the past.”

Kid and Blac Chyna were in a relationship and even went to holiday in Hawaii although the vacation turned sour when they engaged on a physical altercation on 28th January 2019.

Kid Buu Arrest
According to court records from 2008 obtained from Miami-Dade court Kid pleaded guilty to charges of child abuse, obstruction of justice, robbery and criminal mischief.
Kid claimed that at the time he was 18 and the alleged victim was either 16 or 17 years old. He claimed he pleaded guilty for his own convenience so he could move on with life.
During an interview with XXL Magazine in December 2018 Kid said: “The child abuse is in fact labeled ‘child abuse with no harm’ I know that can sound confusing, like, how can somebody be abused if no harm is done? Well, it is very confusing and I learned the hard way by Florida adding that charge to me because someone had called the police and did say I was intimidating and threatening a witness to not testify on a friend, and that’s what they allegedly were trying to lock me up for. Giving those details, that person also did not want to testify against me for that charge and Florida picked up the charges. You play with Florida and they make things sound nastier than it needs to be.”
