Kristina attended and graduated from a high school in Singapore. She then enrolled at the University of California, San Diego, where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Communication.

Also, I had the incredible experience of traveling to the Philippines to report on recovery efforts following the destruction of Typhoon Haiyan.
Those reports earned her her first Emmy award. But as luck would have it she returned to KSWB FOX 5 for a “second tour,” but this time as a reporter. After 2 and a half years of reporting for her nightside newscasts, the station changed her role and now has her waking up with San Diego as a morning anchor.
