Modeling and Acting Career
Ritter was at the Wyoming Valley Mall when she was scouted by a modeling agent at the age of 15, at a modeling event. She had described herself to Philadelphia Style magazine as “tall, gawky, awkward, and really, really skinny”. She traveled to New York While in high school, on her days off and began her modeling there.
Ritter was signed to Elite Model Management agency and then Wilhelmina Models. At the age of 18, Ritter moved to New York City to establish an international-modeling career in print ads and on television. She did magazine, catalog, and runway work in Milan, New York, Paris, and Tokyo.
Wilhelmina placed her for an audition for a Dr. Pepper television commercial marking the beginning of her acting career. She got several roles since 2001 including a 1950s art history student in Julia Roberts’ Mona Lisa Smile in 2003.
