Betker’s first meteorologist position began at Weather Eye Radio Network in June 2006, where she reported over the radio each day. She quit that job nearly two years later in March of 2008, and wouldn’t have another meteorologist position for two years. After moving to Lima, Ohio in 2010, Betker went back to meteorology and took a position with WLIO-TV as both a reporter and a meteorologist. She stayed there until February of 2012, after which she took her current position at KARE 11.
