She then attended Los Angeles Trade Technical College, a public community college in Los Angeles, California, for her further education.

Baur’s career was a short-lived one but she still managed to get the attention of the audience. She was first seen as a contestant in an American crime drama television series, Charlie’s Angels. She had a very small role in that series. Lisa was shown the least among other contestants.

In 1978, Baur appeared as Shelly Dubinsky, the naive college-going young girl in the comedy/romance film National Lampoon’s Animal House, which was a huge success at the box office collection of around $141.6 million. It was her first film and eventually her last too.
