Lisa worked as a school bus driver and motocross rider, before her appointment as an Ice Road Trucker. She also worked at gas stations, and a pizza company and was a state freestyle motocross champion. Later on, she decided to settle on a long term-career and trained as a trucker. She then landed a job driving for Carlisle Transportation, an Alaskan haulage company.
She is one of the truckers for the History Channel’s Ice Road Truckers. She was first featured in season 3 in 2009, as the only woman. She subsequently participated in season 4 and season 5 and 7. Lisa alongside Rick Yemm, Dave Redmon and Alex Debogorski participated in the History Channel’s Ice Road Truckers: Deadliest Roads trucking in the Himalayas in India.
According to Journalist Kaye O’Hara, Lisa was offered a contract to return to the show for season six, but she declined the offer since she was taking a year off.
