Liz started chasing her dreams of having a career in Journalism at a young age. When Liz was 15 years old, she began with Trojan News. At that time, she was just in high school and had learned the basics of reporting. At KWOA radio in Worthington, one of her first assigned tasks was to cover the tornado that touched down in southwest Minnesota.
At KDLT, she spent two years. Prior to that, she had the opportunity to work with CNN for a few months and was later employed for half a year as a robotic camera operator at a large NBC station. Liz then joined KWCH-TV, Wichita, Kansas, for three years, working as a reporter.
During her time at KWCH-TV, she covered some hard-hitting stories like problems at a military school in Salina, etc. Liz’s next career step came in 2008, with her move to WCCO in her home state of Minnesota. She still continues to work there.
