Lori started her broadcasting career with WBFF-TV. She was their weekend meteorologist and health reporter and was later promoted to Chief Meteorologist. Pinson also worked for WUSA-TV, WGAL-TV, and WWJ-TV serving as their meteorologist. Currently, she is working with the FOX 2 News-Detroit as their meteorologist and reporter. Besides broadcasting, she also acts as Master of Ceremonies. Pinson works alongside Rich Luterman who is also the Chief Meteorologist at FOX 2.
She has worked all over as a meteorologist. Philadelphia, DC, Lancaster, Cincinnati, and Detroit for the CBS program, First Forecast Mornings.
