Louis D. Coleman III is a resident of Providence, Rhode Island and is the suspect arrested in connection with the kidnapping and subsequent murder of a 23 years old woman, Jassy Correia, from Dorchester, Massachusetts.
According to his now-deleted LinkedIn page, Louis is a systems engineer at Raytheon, a defense contractor, in Portsmouth, Massachusetts.
Louis D is now in custody in connection with the kidnapping of Jassy Correia, who was last seen at the Venu Nightclub in Boston in the very early hours of February 24, 2019.
On February 28, 2019, a wanted alert was sent out by the Boston Police Department and a few hours later, it was announced that Louis D had been taken into custody in Delaware.
Shortly after he was arrested, authorities said that Jassy’s body was found in the trunk of the suspect’s car.
Louis D. is 32 years old.

On the night Jassy disappeared, there were reports that said that she was seen with an unidentified man just after midnight on February 24. The pair got into a red car at Tremont and Herald Streets in the city and she was big hoop earrings, an orange jumpsuit and a jean jacket with an image of red lips and pink wings on the back of it.
Boston Police say Jassy was last seen on surveillance video leaving the Venu Nightclub in the company of a man on Sunday and getting into a maroon car. The man they later as Louis D. Coleman III.
On Thursday, February 28, at around 2 p.m, Delaware State Police spotted the car, and after a brief chase on I-95, pulled it over at the Stanton exit. The driver was Louis D. and they found a body, believed o be Jassy’s in the trunk.
Speaking to the media, Katia Depina, Jassy’s cousin, said; “She was a mother, she was brave, she was strong. She did not deserve this. She went out to celebrate her birthday and never returned home. We want justice for her death.”
Police conducted a search at the apartment where Louis lived, the building’s trash container and the surrounding area but they did not disclose the details of what they discovered or found.
The police said that they are treating the case as a homicide.
