She is well known for being the host of GMA Network’s morning television show Unang Hirit where she, along with her co-hosts, received the Best Morning Show Hosts award during the 29th PMPC Star Awards for Television in 2015.
She also presents showbiz news on Balitanghali and used to anchor “Chika Minute,” the entertainment news segment of 24 Oras Weekend As an actress, she debuted in the ABS-CBN television series The Wedding and Precious Hearts Romances Presents: Somewhere In My Heart. On GMA Network, she starred in I Heart You, Pare! as the girlfriend of Dingdong Dantes and in Genesis

The “Eat Bulaga” and “Unang Hirit” host revealed Friday, May 3, on Instagram that she said yes to the actor’s proposal while they were in Disneyland California.
She shared a video of Gonzalez getting down on one knee with fireworks in the background.

The “Eat Bulaga” and “Unang Hirit” host revealed Friday, May 3, on Instagram that she said yes to the actor’s proposal while they were in Disneyland California.
She shared a video of Gonzalez getting down on one knee with fireworks in the background.
“Yes! A million times over! I love you!” she wrote in the caption.
Gonzalez shared the same video on Instagram and explained why he chose
Disneyland to pop the question.
“I asked her to marry me in the happiest place on earth because for her, I know it will surpass that happiness thousand times over,” he said. “Oh, and she said yes!”
“8 years ago I met the girl of my dreams. On this day, I asked her to marry me. Soon, I will call her my wife and we will start a family. This is, by far, the happiest day of my life!”
Back in 2017, Dy said on the documentary show “Tunay na Buhay” that she and Gonzalez would discuss getting married. At the time, she said they were in no rush and felt that “if it’s meant to be, it’s meant to be.”
