Mabel Alabama Pearl McVey best known by her stage name Mabel is a British singer and songwriter. She was born in Málaga and raised in London daughter to Swedish singer Neneh Cherry and Massive Attack record producer Cameron McVey.
In 2017, Mabel had her breakthrough when she released “Finders Keepers” which became her first UK top-10 single. She is also a nominee for British Breakthrough Act at the upcoming 2019 Brit Awards.

She started off her career with her debut single, “Know Me Better” in 2015. She then released “Finders Keepers”, in 2017 which peaked at number 8 on the UK Singles Chart. She released her 2017 debut EP titled Bedroom and a mixtape, Ivy to Roses. Mabel was an opening act for Harry Styles during the European part of the second leg of his tour Harry Styles: Live on Tour. Mabel embarked on her own headline tour through the United Kingdom and Europe after she came back fro her tour with Styles.

She released “Don’t Call Me Up”, on 18 January 2019, which debuted at number 11 on the UK Singles Chart peaked at number 5 two weeks later. It became her highest-charting single to date. She is currently working on her debut album.
