Something a bit special has happened, of which I am immensely proud. After spending some life-changing, spirit awakening, utterly inspiring hands-on time with Maryam Montague and the exceptional girls of Project Soar: Marrakech, Morocco, I have been appointed their Global Ambassador, tasked with spearheading the expansion of Project Soar into Africa. Our Uganda post is up and running but there is so much more to do. ‘Why?’ You might ask. ‘There are so many worthy causes’. That’s true. But I am not telling you about this based in flimsy notions of saving the world. Our fundraising link is in my bio, but first, please take the time to check out The purpose, aims of, and obstacles facing Project Soar: Africa I’ve included on the following pages. Take the time to absorb the statistics, and for just a moment put yourself in their shoes. Not from a place of pity, but from a place of understanding that everyone, regardless of where they come from, how they look, what they have or don’t have, deserves the chance to learn………
