She became part of the WGN News team in October 1998 as a general assignment reporter for WGN News. Furthermore, she has interviewed various political powerhouses and movie stars, but her most significant interviews are with Chicago’s very own who have incredible stories to tell.
Since she became part of the WGN, she has covered some incredible breaking news including the blizzard of 2011, the historic inauguration of President Barack Obama, where she reported stories of stranded motorists on Lake Shore Drive, and the circus-like murder trial of Drew Peterson.
Prior to joining WGN-TV, Raymond worked in several news stations as a reporter, producer, and editor including WCFC-TV Chicago where she worked two years before moving to Rockford, Illinois where she spent another two years working as a reporter for WTVO from 1990 to 1992.
