In football, he was an All-Conference pick. Wiley was a teammate of Adrian Klemm. He was his school’s valedictorian and a member of the National Honor Society.
In 1988, he was a national typewriting winner, with 82 words per minute. At Columbia University, Wiley played tailback, defensive end, and kick returner for the Lions.
