Maria Hinojosa is an American journalist. She is the anchor and executive producer of Latino USA on National Public Radio, a public radio show devoted to Latino issues. She is also the founder, president, and CEO of Futuro Media Group, which produces the show. In 1992, Hinojosa assisted launch Latino USA, one of the Latino community’s oldest public radio programs. She has been the host of the show throughout her 20-year career and has also been an executive producer since 2000.
In 2010, Hinojosa established Futuro Media Group with the task of producing multi-platform, community-based journalism that respects and celebrates the cultural richness of the American experience.
