Agustin began his career as a waiter when he was 16 years old though he was soon discovered by a talent scout and offered an agreement with ABS-CBN. Agustin made his acting debut in 1996 in the TV series titled Gimik. He appeared in numerous TV shows and films, such as Kutob (2005), and Ang Tanging Ina (2003).
Apart from his acting career, Agustin is also a successful entrepreneur. He owns several restaurants, such as Cafe Ten Titas, SumoSam, and John and Yoko. Agustin also has his own production company, called Futuretainment Inc.
