Castro worked at WPIX in New York as a news anchor, for The Early Show on CBS as a weather forecaster in 2011, and for the weekend edition of Good Morning America on ABC as a features correspondent, from 2004 to 2010.
Castro started working at New Haven-based WTNH-TV in June 2015, to replace weekday morning traffic reports and anchor up to mid-November 2015.
