Masego born Micah Davis is an American instrumentalist, singer and songwriter born in Jamaica. The singer is an international, contemporary genre- fusing entertainer who has referred to his own music style as “TrapHouseJazz” or Emotion. In addition to his vocals, he is a multi instrumentalist; playing a variety of instruments such as the saxophone, drums, xylophone, trombone and piano. Masego’s collaborative record with FKJ titled “Tadow” has gone viral; amassing over 100 million views and counting on YouTube. The singer has gained much of internet’s fanbase from his record titled Navajo, which was premiered by Berlin platform “Colors”. The song has been streamed over 20 million times and counting, triggering a snowball effect leading to a worldwide sold out tour. He is also known for his masterful song “Lavish Lullaby” on the series open mic from Genius YouTube channel as well as the song ‘Favorite things” on YouTube. Masego is slated to have a worldwide tour on April to August 2019.

Masego’s name hails from the Tswana (Botswana) dialect meaning ‘Blessings’ It was in high school when Davis adopted the name Masego after finding out his family had roots in South Africa. This felt to Davis like a proper stage name due to his nickname back in church being “Blessing”
