The same year, she also became the Deputy Communications Director and Deputy Digital Director for Mayor Bill De Blasio’s election campaign and & again for his re-election campaign in 2017 where he served as the 109th mayor of New York City.
In 2014, she became Deputy Press Secretary for Mayor Bill de Blasio’s administration in City Hall. As the senior spokesperson, Klein assisted the Press Secretary and Communications Director with all aspects of public outreach. Moreover, she managed communications for fifteen city agencies including the Department of Correction, the NYPD, the Commission on Human Rights and the FDNY.
In 2016, Monica started off as the Regional Press Secretary for the Hilary Clinton election campaign in Ohio.
In 2017, she co-founded a company called The Broad Room, which is essentially a ‘training camp’ for millennial women who want to take up a career for the progressive agendas.
The Broad Room offers free monthly training sessions led by experts in their field, as well as teach new members how to comprehend and change the government. They also host networking sessions to keep the membership active, engaged and expanding.
