Wasiu Alabi Pasuma Biography

Wasiu Alabi Pasuma, also known as Oganla, is a Nigerian film actor and Fuji musician. He was born on November 27, 1967 at Mushin in Lagos State and was brought up in Kwara State, western Nigeria.

Pasuma attended Muslim mission primary school from 1973 to 1979 after which he moved to Nigerian model high school, from 1979 to 1984 for his secondary school education.

Pasuma started his musical career in 1984 but only came into limelight in 1993 when he released his debut album “Recognition”. His second album, choices followed there after in 1994. a subsequent album in 1995 titled, Orobokibo earned him an award as the best fuji artiste at the FMA awards.

The name Pasuma was given to him in 1997 by his musical pal named Adeola Omotayo, the CEO of Heavy Sounds.

He has collaborated with several recording artists, such as Bola Abimbola and King Sunny Ade and has featured in Nigerian films such as Iyanje and Alenibare.

In a movie titled ‘Jaiyeola Ni Mo N Je‘ produced by Yoruba actress Jaiye Kuti, Pasuma played the role of her husband. Oganla played the role of Jaiye’s fiance who ended up marrying her. The shooting of the movie took place in Ikorodu and some area in Victoria Island.

The house is said to have cost 60 million Naira. The house is decent and suitable for a medium sized family. The exterior of the house is adorned with decorative columns. It has five bedrooms, two large living rooms, and a kitchen in high-tech style. Also, there is a jacuzzi and a gym.
