Bea was born to her mother, Helen O’Sullivan, and her father, Brian O’Sullivan, on March 16, 1984, in County Kildare, Ireland. She attended Presentation Secondary School, Kildare Town, a Catholic school, and later enrolled at Trinity College Dublin, where she studied philosophy and French.
While at Trinity College, Bea was a member of a student sketch comedy group. After graduating, she moved on to study at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA). Upon attaining her degree in arts from drama school, Bea spent 2 years attempting to secure a role as a dramatic actress in theatre.
