Angus seems to be aligning his career with his family’s legacy. After portraying a younger version of his father’s character, he took on the role of the vampire leader Shane in Lost Boys: The Tribe. Interestingly, his half-brother Kiefer played a similar role in the original film, The Lost Boys, two decades prior. Released straight to DVD in July 2008, Lost Boys: The Tribe’s success led to a third sequel, Lost Boys: The Thirst, but Angus did not participate in the third installment.
In Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay, Angus had a supporting role as a model named ‘Anton,’ appearing in the final ten minutes of the movie. He also made a brief appearance in an episode of the short-lived FOX series Dollhouse in 2009, playing Iilya in the episode “True Believer.”
