Simona is an actress, voice actress, director and screenwriter. Izzo started working as a dubber at a young age. After having appeared as an actress in several series and films and having collaborated on several screenplays written by her husband Ricky Tognazzi, her debut film Sentimental Maniacs got her the David di Donatello for Best New Director. Co-hosted for RAI, and ultimately, Eurovision, the 1982 Italian Heat of Jeux Sans Frontieres on Tuesday 25 May at The Harbour, La Maddalena (Maddalena), Italy.
