He went to Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. He played basketball for their school and later won a basketball scholarship. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Houston Baptist University. Ed has a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas.
