Konrad and his wife, Kirsten, listed their four-bedroom condominium on the top floor of a five-story Near West Side loft building on Oct. 6 for $2.95 million. A Naperville native, Konrad joined Channel 9 in 1996. He first proceeded into a portion of his current home in 1997 as a renter and in 2001, he and his wife paid $381,500 to buy that rented residence outright as part of the building’s condo conversion, making the first part of their recent spread.
However, in 2004, the couple paid $382,000 for an adjacent condo, which they originally rented out. Ultimately, the couple did a gut healing that connected the two spaces into one and constructed a 550-square-foot, rooftop-level penthouse atop the home.
Currently, they are seeking an impressive return on their 4,491-square-foot condo, which is in one of the city’s most in-demand areas.
