Phil is the main anchor of the NBC10 news station in Boston, where he has been working since the year 2016. When he was still working there, Phil discussed with the Northeastern journalism students how the school is important and experience is key to a reporter’s development. He began his journalism career at a local cable access station in Newton, where he worked for free.
Most importantly, he has been serving as the host of the Rock Talk show since Apr 2011. ”Dr. Chen diagnosed me with DRESS (Drug Rash with Eosinophilia and Systemic Symptoms), a rare and often fatal condition where your body reacts adversely to medications. He has prescribed a strong steroid which quickly reduced his symptoms. Although his liver was dangerously near failure, so I remained in the hospital for several days.
