Studer went to Pensacola in 1996 to operate as president of Baptist Hospital, and while there he formed The Studer Group company, a part-time initiative designed to assist healthcare organizations improve clinical outcomes and profits. By 2000, The Studer Group had turned into his full-time passion and employment and it boasts over 270 employees.
Moreover, he has also invested stadium project in Pensacola which helped draw golf star, a two-time Masters Champion, and Pensacola native Bubba Watson, back home. In January 2015, Watson bought a minority interest in the Chicago Cubs.
