This report seeks to identify potential causes for the drop of our website traffic, develop a detailed action plan to recover traffic, and suggest adjustments to improve existing and current articles.
Potential Causes:
After reviewing the recent update and analyzing the documents you set, I found some potential causes that might have contributed to the drop of the website traffic such as;
- Algorithm Changes: The recent google updates may have affected our website’s search engine ranking, leading to a drop in website traffic. Al content if there were any could have also contributed to the drop after the changes.
- Technical Issues: Issues such as 404 error, slow page loading speed or broken links could have preventing users from accessing our website, hence leading to a drop in website traffic.
- Content Relevance: Irrelevant or outdated content may no longer align with search intent or meet user needs.
- Competitor Activity: Increased changes in competitor strategies or competition could impact our website’s visibility, leading to a drop in website traffic.

- Social Media Strategy: We should share our articles and engage audiences on social media and other marketing strategies to avoid being affected by Google’s updates in the future.
- User Experience Enhancements: We should also enhance the overall user experience by improve our website usability and navigation.
- Meta Information: We should be consistent when providing our meta information to avoid duplicating metainformation particularly when doing updates.
- Witting high-quality articles: We should ensure we write articles that do not contain AL content, and serve the needs of the users, leading to high rating.
- Evaluation: Evaluate how our website traffic drivers were performing before the drop and compare that to our website’s post-decline performance.
