He was able to parlay work at ASU and with FoxSports into a job at WOAY in Oak Hill/Beckley in 2000. After about a year there, he came to WCHS to work with Mark Martin (the classiest, most professional guy EVER.)
He worked as a Weekend Sports Anchor back then; it was truly one of the best times of my life. In October 2002, an opportunity arose to work in the news department at WSYX in Columbus, Ohio. Since then he has been to WCHS to co-anchor the 6,10, and 11 o’clock newscasts in September 2003.
