Before, he co-anchored Action News Mornings, helping to create a dominant early morning program along with Cecily Tynan and Monica Malpass.
Prior to joining 6abc, Williams served at WRAL-TV in Raleigh, North Carolina. Before that, he was in Huntington, West Virginia, and Washington D.C., where he attended college at Howard University as well as served in radio.
