Rolene Strauss Biography
Rolene Strauss is a South African doctor, model and beauty queen. She became famous after winning Miss South Africa and Miss World in 2014. She works as the chairperson of a Non-Governmental Organization, The Strauss Foundation. Strauss is the third South African woman to be crowned Miss World, after Penelope Anne Coelen in 1958 and Anneline Kriel in 1974.

The two set their wedding venue in the Winelands town of Somerset West. It happened they tied the knots on 6th February 2019- on Saturday. The wedding was planned by Aleit Swanepoel, the Founder, and Chairman of the Aleit Group.
She had a dramatic entrance on a horse and a carriage. Guests had their reception in the very special oak tree lane on Lourensford Estate. The reception was characterized by clusters of crystal chandeliers hanging through the reception. The wedding was just bliss. Rolene wore a white off-shoulder gown with the Cinderella bottom
Rolene Strauss Husband
She got engaged and married to her longtime boyfriend, D’ Niel Strauss. Also, Rolene shared a game of her pregnancy on YouTube for the first time. She said she would have wanted to be pregnant for the second time. Because she was chosen to appear in the magazine she did not.
However, she mentions that after all the magazine stuff she will try getting pregnant. They welcomed their son in January 2017. Rolene often shares pictures or videos of the complete family having the fan on her Instagram or YouTube pages.
Rolene Strauss Doctor
Before becoming a miss pageant, Rolene aspired to become a doctor. However, she had to put a stop for two years to participate in the pageants.
She was enrolled at the University of the Free State after being Miss World. This was fairly the time they welcomed their first son.
She adds to say that comparison between medicine and beauty pageants is odd. However, the two careers have helped her become the best version of herself.
Rolene Strauss Pageantry
She first won a title at 15, the Elite Model Look South Africa competition in 2007. Later, she was the top 5 of Miss South Africa 2011. At the time, Melinda Bam was the winner. Strauss stayed 3 years away from pageants. After 3 years, she joined representing Bloemfontein.
Here she was crowned Miss South Africa 2014. Being Miss South Africa 2014, she was expected to compete with Miss Universe 2014 and Miss World 2014. During the Miss World 2014 competition, Rolene won.
She was crowned Miss World 2014 and due to this, she wouldn’t participate in the Miss Universe competition. Her first runners-up, Ziphozakhe Zokufa stepped in as Miss Sout Africa 2014. Ziphozakhe Zokufa represented the country at the Miss Universe 2014. After being crowned, Rolene began her responsibilities traveling around the world.
She has traveled to Hong Kong, China, Indonesia, India, Philippines, Brazil, Sri Lanka, and Mexico among more others. She was a judge in Miss World 2018. Rolene Strauss became the first and the only miss world from the 2010s to become a judge in Miss World finals.

She revealed the cover of her new book on her Instagram page. Also, in June said that she would be releasing her new book soon.
The title of her new book is “Reflections from the heart”. She added to say that the purchase will be available from October 1st, its launching date.
She wrote on Instagram,
‘The very first retailers event for my book ‘Reflections from the Heart’ which will be launching the 1st of October… I had the honor of sharing my heart with independent retailers from 6 countries this morning and it was such a memorable experience. Thank you, Christian Art, for believing in me and assisting me in making the dream God planted in my heart, a reality.’ On July 31.
