Robbie Malinga Biography
Robbie Malinga is a South African musician, producer, and songwriter. He is the owner of a record label, Robbie Malinga Entertainment.
Robbie Malinga Age
Robinson Malinga was born on 8th November 1968 in Meadowlands Township, Soweto but unfortunately he died at 48 years. He died on 25th December 2017. During the time of his death, he was 47 years old. He had celebrated his last birthday in style but still in fear of dying.
Robbie Malinga Wife
In 1999, was when Robbie tied the knot with Ann Malinga. The couple has had much of their information private. However, in the year 2016, they visited Paris. The late Robbie and Ann Malinga were on a vacation celebrating their 17th anniversary.
They were blessed with two children, a daughter, and a son. The daughter is the eldest while the son, Robbie Malinga Jnr follows.
Robbie Malinga Music
Malinga started his career at the Kwaito scene at a young age, in 1998 he released his smash hit, Insimbi. He studied music at a college in Roodepoort with his friend Trompies star.
Later, Robbie shifted from Kwaito to produce Afro-pop and Soul. He says that he shifted because he wanted to grow and get to produce the quality of music that will be loved by music fans.
Additionally, he formed a record label Robbie Malinga Entertainment, and released the album ‘The Duets’. He signed the star of the moment, Musa Sukwene of Mthande fame. Robbie has produced several hits for the likes of Kelly Khumalo, Naima K, Zahara, Ntando and Fiso.

Robbie Malinga Health
In September 2017 a picture of him showing dramatic weight loss surfaced on the internet and people started speculating about his health but he refuted the claims saying that “I’m not sick. Let people talk‚ but I know that I’m fine.”
He said that he was sick in June after he was diagnosed with anemia. He says that he was sick because he was tired. His weight loss was due to iron deficiency but he is in good health.
Robbie Malinga Death
He was reported dead on 25th June 2017. Robbie died at his home just suddenly. The musician died due to health problems.
During his time of his sickness, Malinga had already thought about dying. However, upon the thought of his family, Robbi just did not quit.
“I was scared for my kids man. My kids are so spoilt. I make sure that I do everything for them. My wife as well, she’s still young to have her husband die. It was scary but I’m a strong person, I am a believer,” he told Sowetan.
Malinga had been diagnosed with cancer. He died immediately after battling cancer for several years. His burial took place on 2 January 2018 in Westpark Cemetery in Johannesburg.
